Education Scam Under The Protection Of Police And Government

50 centers of RIOS are running across the Indian states and every center has paid an amount of INR 8 lakhs* to RIOS. Thousands of students are enrolled with every center because they are unaware with the reality of RIOS.
NIOS comes under HRD and RIOS misguides the centers and students by saying that it is equivalent to NIOS and has got affiliation from Chhattisgarh board and COBSE and indirectly falls under HRD. But NIOS made it very clear by saying that they have no such connection with any other board. One of the regional centers of RIOS filed a complaint against RIOS board at Shakarpur police station, New Delhi by saying that the board is not affiliated and RIOS accepted the fact and returned approximately* an amount of INR 10 lakhs. If RIOS is not leading on a wrong path then why they agreed to return the amount back to the center?
We informed education ministry about RIOS, they said that it is a crime and should be handled by the police. We informed police headquarters about the deeds of RIOS but no action was taken. Even the government is silent in this matter. Government and police were trying to hide their face when asked to give a media byte.
RIOS chairman, Mr. Venkatesh from Andhra Pradesh, when asked that is he not afraid of government taking action against him? He replied almost laughing that he has no worry as such because he has got strong political links as the HRD minister belongs to the same state (Andhra Pradesh).
Without approval and examination, RIOS is providing degrees to the students
Yes, this is the hard core reality of RIOS that without approval and examination they are distributing degrees to the students. This way they are playing with the future of students and changing the meaning of the word “Education”. When CMJ University followed the same pattern Supreme Court black listed the organization, then how come the same government is protecting RIOS for the same deed?
Now it’s time for the society/parents of the students to decide that what kind of future they want for their children-bright or dark?
